Morocco 12-Day North to South Journey

Destinations: Tangier, Chefchaouen, Fes, Merzouga, Marrakech · Duration: 12 days · Difficulty: Easy · Group size: Private (1–12)

This journey follows Morocco from top to bottom, beginning where Europe almost touches Africa at Tangier and ending in the sun-baked south. Over twelve days you watch the country transform — from the cosmopolitan north and blue Chefchaouen through imperial Fes to the dunes of the Sahara and the palm valleys beyond.

It is an ideal trip for travellers who want depth as well as breadth, with a private guide unpacking the Andalusian, Berber, Arab and Saharan cultures that layer this remarkable country. Comfortable stays and a steady pace let each region make its full impression.

This 12 days journey is led by licensed local guides who grew up in Northern Morocco, giving you privileged access to the cosmopolitan port on the Strait of Gibraltar, long a haven for writers and artists alongside honest, unhurried travel. Every detail — comfortable private transport, hand-picked accommodation and authentic meals — is arranged so you can simply relax and take it in.

It is perfect for discerning travellers who value comfort and service who want a genuine, well-run experience rather than a rushed coach tour. Small groups, transparent pricing and flexible planning mean the trip flexes around you.
