Morocco 7-Day Desert to Coast Route (Balanced Driving)

Destinations: Marrakech, Merzouga, Essaouira · Duration: 7 days · Difficulty: Easy · Group size: Private (1–12)

This route is built on Morocco’s most striking contrast: the burning stillness of the Sahara set against the cool, breezy energy of the Atlantic coast. Over seven days you journey from the dunes of Erg Chebbi across the kasbah road and High Atlas to Marrakech, then out to windswept Essaouira.

It is a wonderfully varied week that pairs desert silence with ocean spray, ancient earthen architecture with blue fishing boats. A private guide and comfortable stays keep it seamless, making this an ideal choice for travellers who want two very different sides of Morocco in one trip.

This 7 days journey is led by licensed local guides who grew up in Central Morocco, giving you privileged access to the imperial Red City, founded by the Almoravids in 1070, whose medina and Jemaa el-Fnaa square are UNESCO World Heritage sites alongside honest, unhurried travel. Every detail — comfortable private transport, hand-picked accommodation and authentic meals — is arranged so you can simply relax and take it in.

It is perfect for first-time desert dreamers, couples and families who want a genuine, well-run experience rather than a rushed coach tour. Small groups, transparent pricing and flexible planning mean the trip flexes around you.
