Depart Marrakech at 07:00. Cross the High Atlas over Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260 m) with photo stops. Arrive Aït Ben Haddou mid-afternoon for a thorough 2-h guided walk through the UNESCO ksar — scenes from Gladiator, Game of Thrones, Lawrence of Arabia and more. Overnight in Ouarzazate.
Morning visit to Atlas Film Studios — wander the enormous sets at a relaxed pace with your guide's behind-the-scenes stories. Visit Kasbah Taourirt. Lunch in Ouarzazate before the scenic 5–6 h return drive over the Atlas to Marrakech, arriving early evening.

October–April for comfortable desert days; spring and autumn are ideal. Warm sunny days and cold, star-filled nights; summer midday heat can exceed 40°C. Spring and autumn are the busiest and most beautiful; book early for these months. Summer is quieter inland due to heat, winter quieter on the coast.
