Every May the Dades region’s Valley of Roses celebrates its Damask rose harvest with one of Morocco’s most fragrant and joyful festivals. Petals rain down in parades, music fills the kasbah towns, and the whole valley is perfumed by the roses gathered at dawn from fields lining the river.
This two-day tour immerses you in the celebration: you visit the rose fields and distilleries where petals become precious rose water and oil, join the festival atmosphere, and stay amid the scenic Dades scenery. It is a short, sensory and utterly distinctive seasonal experience.

March–May and September–November for the most pleasant weather. Hot dry summers and mild winters with cool evenings. Spring and autumn are the busiest and most beautiful; book early for these months. Summer is quieter inland due to heat, winter quieter on the coast.
