Morocco Astronomy & Dark Sky Tour 3-Day

Destinations: Merzouga, Agafay Desert · Duration: 3 days · Difficulty: Easy · Group size: Up to 10

Far from city light, the Moroccan desert offers some of the clearest, darkest skies on the planet — a natural planetarium where the Milky Way casts shadows and thousands of stars blaze overhead. This three-day tour is built around that spectacle, with expert-guided stargazing and astrophotography from the Sahara.

An astronomer guide leads you through the constellations, planets and deep-sky objects with telescopes, while photographers learn to capture the night sky. Days are spent resting and exploring the dunes, so you are ready for the main event each night: an unforgettable immersion in the cosmos.

This 3 days journey is led by licensed local guides who grew up in Sahara, giving you privileged access to a Saharan village beside Erg Chebbi, home to Amazigh and Gnaoua musical traditions alongside honest, unhurried travel. Every detail — comfortable private transport, hand-picked accommodation and authentic meals — is arranged so you can simply relax and take it in.

It is perfect for first-time desert dreamers, couples and families who want a genuine, well-run experience rather than a rushed coach tour. Small groups, transparent pricing and flexible planning mean the trip flexes around you.
