Roads are a mix of smooth national highways and short off-road desert pistes near the dunes, and we build in regular photo and comfort stops so the journey is part of the experience. October–April for comfortable desert days; spring and autumn are ideal. Warm sunny days and cold, star-filled nights; summer midday heat can exceed 40°C. Spring and autumn are the busiest and most beautiful; book early for these months. Summer is quieter inland due to heat, winter quieter on the coast.
