Roads are a mix of smooth national highways and short off-road desert pistes near the dunes, and we build in regular photo and comfort stops so the journey is part of the experience. No technical climbing is involved, but a good level of fitness helps. The itinerary is paced to aid acclimatisation, your guide monitors everyone closely, and we descend at the first sign of altitude sickness. Stay hydrated, walk slowly and you will do well.
Desert nights are cool to cold, especially October–March, so bring a warm layer. The camp provides thick blankets, comfortable beds in private tents and en-suite bathrooms with hot water — it is glamping, not roughing it.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure receive a full refund of the balance paid. Between 30 and 14 days, 50% is refundable. Within 14 days the deposit is non-refundable. October–April for comfortable desert days; spring and autumn are ideal. Warm sunny days and cold, star-filled nights; summer midday heat can exceed 40°C. Spring and autumn are the busiest and most beautiful; book early for these months. Summer is quieter inland due to heat, winter quieter on the coast.
