Dakhla Tours & Things to Do

Dakhla — Southern Coast. Windswept lagoon peninsula and world-class kitesurfing.

Why visit Dakhla

Dakhla is a remote lagoon peninsula where the Sahara meets the Atlantic — a 40km flat-water lagoon on one side and ocean waves on the other, making it a world kitesurf destination. It fits into a Royal Morocco Trips journey as a specialist water-sport stage reached by flight via Casablanca or Agadir, for kitesurfers and ocean-lovers who want the far south.

Planning your Dakhla trip

Trip length: 5+ days given the flight time; usually a dedicated kitesurf trip rather than an add-on.

Travel rhythm: Morning and afternoon wind sessions on the lagoon, with desert and dune excursions on lighter days.

Who it suits: Kitesurfers, windsurfers and water-sport travellers; strong swimmers.

Fitness & mobility: Good physical fitness and swimming ability recommended for water sports.

What needs confirmation: Flights, camp category and lesson packages are quoted individually with your booking request.
