Morocco’s northern tip is a meeting of worlds, and this two-day journey pairs its two most characterful cities. Tangier looks outward, restless and international; Tetouan looks back to Andalusia, refined and inward. Together they tell the story of the north.
Day one explores Tangier — its kasbah, medina and dramatic Cape Spartel, where the Atlantic and Mediterranean visibly meet, plus the sea-carved Caves of Hercules. The coastline here is wild and cinematic, quite unlike the country’s south.
Day two crosses to Tetouan, whose UNESCO-listed medina is among the most authentic in Morocco, built by Andalusian refugees and still whitewashed and workaday. You wander its craft schools and souks before returning north.

April–November for warm, breezy coast days. Mild, breezy Atlantic climate year-round; water stays cool. Spring and autumn are the busiest and most beautiful; book early for these months. Summer is quieter inland due to heat, winter quieter on the coast.
