Destinations: Taghazout, Agadir, Paradise Valley · Duration: 2 days · Difficulty: Moderate · Group size: Up to 10
The coastline around Taghazout is as rewarding on foot as it is in the water. This two-day trek follows clifftop trails high above the Atlantic, drops into secret coves and climbs into the argan-studded hills where the land turns from surf town to Berber countryside.
Day one hugs the coast, with the sound of surf below and the chance to spot dolphins offshore. You pass sleepy fishing spots and quiet beaches most visitors never reach, ending at a village guesthouse with a home-cooked dinner.
Day two turns inland and uphill toward Paradise Valley, where the trail meets palm groves and freshwater pools — the perfect reward for tired legs. It is an active, scenic escape that shows a completely different side of Morocco’s surf coast.
Hike north along clifftops and coves from Taghazout, lunch on a quiet beach, and reach a village guesthouse by evening.
Climb through argan hills to the palm-lined pools of Paradise Valley for a swim before transfer back.

April–October for the high peaks (winter summits require crampons and experience). Cool mountain air, strong sun by day and near-freezing nights at altitude. Spring and autumn are the busiest and most beautiful; book early for these months. Summer is quieter inland due to heat, winter quieter on the coast.
