Morocco Luxury Camel Safari with Gourmet Dining

Destinations: Merzouga · Duration: 3 days · Difficulty: Moderate · Group size: Up to 8

This safari revives the romance of the old caravan routes, but with a level of comfort the salt traders never knew. Over three days you ride by camel deeper into the Erg Chebbi sea of sand, spending each night at a different exclusive camp so the landscape constantly changes around you.

A private chef travels with the caravan, transforming desert evenings into candlelit feasts of tagine, grilled meats and fresh salads paired with Moroccan wines. Between rides there is time to walk the ridgelines, sandboard the slopes and lie back beneath a sky thick with stars.

This 3 days journey is led by licensed local guides who grew up in Sahara, giving you privileged access to a Saharan village beside Erg Chebbi, home to Amazigh and Gnaoua musical traditions alongside honest, unhurried travel. Every detail — comfortable private transport, hand-picked accommodation and authentic meals — is arranged so you can simply relax and take it in.

It is perfect for first-time desert dreamers, couples and families who want a genuine, well-run experience rather than a rushed coach tour. Small groups, transparent pricing and flexible planning mean the trip flexes around you.
