A private journey runs only for your party, on your dates, with your own guide and driver; a group departure runs on a fixed scheduled date shared with other travellers. Context: private journeys give total control over pacing, stops and the itinerary itself, and suit families, couples and groups with specific interests. Group departures cost less per person, offer a social experience, and suit solo travellers and pairs happy to join a schedule. Both are run with experienced local guides — the difference is exclusivity and flexibility, not quality.

A dedicated guide, a private vehicle and driver, accommodation on multi-day journeys, and the meals and activity fees listed on your tour page and proposal. Context: every private itinerary is quoted individually, and your proposal itemises exactly what is in and out — international flights, travel insurance and personal expenses are never included. Nothing is booked or charged until you have agreed the itinerary and final price.

Context: our departures are labelled "Scheduled" — meaning availability is confirmed by our team before your booking is finalised, not promised automatically at checkout. Group departures suit travellers who want a lower per-person price and a shared experience on a set date.

Private journeys include a private vehicle and driver throughout; airport transfers are arranged separately through our private transportation service. Context: for airport pickups, share your flight number and arrival time so the driver can monitor delays; for medina riads, cars meet you at the closest accessible point and help with luggage from there. Transport-only quotes (day trips, city-to-city, multi-day logistics) are available too — every journey is quoted individually and confirmed before anything is booked.

Every journey is led by an experienced local guide — English-speaking as standard, with French, Spanish and Arabic widely available. Context: city and desert journeys use local guides who know the medinas, routes and communities; mountain treks such as Toubkal are led by qualified mountain guides. If you need a specific language, tell us in your booking request and we will match the guide to it where available.
Meals are included where the tour page lists them — typically dinners and breakfasts at desert camps and mountain guesthouses on multi-day journeys. Context: city stages usually leave lunch and dinner open so you can explore Morocco’s food freely (a guided food tour is the best orientation). Dietary needs are passed to every supplier on your route when you declare them in your booking request.

Each night of a multi-day journey is planned with a specific stay — riads, kasbahs, guesthouses or desert camps matched to your comfort tier — and listed in your proposal. Context: because rooms and camps are booked for real dates, availability is verified by our team before your booking is confirmed. On tailor-made journeys you can upgrade individual nights (for example a luxury desert camp) and the price difference is shown transparently in your quote.
