Citizens of the USA, Canada, UK, EU/EEA, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea and most Gulf and Latin American countries can enter Morocco without a visa for stays up to 90 days. You receive a stamp in your passport on arrival.
Morocco launched an eVisa for travellers from countries that previously required a visa (including India, China and others). Apply online at the official portal, usually 1–30 days before travel, with a passport, photo and accommodation details. Processing is typically 24–72 hours.
Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your date of entry and have a blank page for the entry stamp. Carry a printed copy of your return ticket and first night’s accommodation — immigration occasionally asks.
Travellers from some African and Asian countries still need a visa arranged in advance at a Moroccan embassy. Allow several weeks. Requirements typically include a completed form, photos, flight and hotel bookings, and proof of funds.
