Three days Marrakech to Agadir via the Atlas and Taroudant — a relaxed southern coastal route.
This 3-day Marrakech-to-Agadir itinerary takes the scenic southern route via the High Atlas and Taroudant, turning a 4-hour transfer into a rewarding road trip. It pairs a mountain pass, the "Little Marrakech" of Taroudant, and Agadir's long Atlantic beach — a great short southern loop, especially in winter when the coast is mild.
Leave Marrakech and climb the Tizi n'Test pass, a dramatic road over the High Atlas with sweeping views. Descend to Taroudant, a relaxed walled town often called "Little Marrakech" for its ramparts and souks without the crowds. Overnight in a Taroudant riad.
A full day in Taroudant — explore the souks and ramparts by horse-drawn carriage, and visit the nearby Anti-Atlas and argan country. A relaxed, authentic southern-Morocco day, far from the tourist trail. Overnight in Taroudant.
A short drive west to Agadir, Morocco's southern beach city. Settle into a beachfront hotel, walk the promenade, and visit the Kasbah of Agadir Oufella for bay views. The tour ends here — extend with a Taghazout surf week or a Paradise Valley swim if time allows.
We run this as a 3-day private tour starting in Marrakech and ending in Agadir, with all transport, riads and guided tours included. Tell us your dates via the plan-my-trip form.
A private 3-day version runs approximately $450–750 per person (private driver-guide, riad and hotel accommodation, guided tours). Agadir is good value. International flights are not included.
The direct road is about 250 km, a 4–5 hour drive. A 3-day itinerary takes the scenic route via the High Atlas and Taroudant, breaking the journey with mountain and "Little Marrakech" stops. A direct transfer is faster but less rewarding.
A mid-range private 3-day trip runs roughly $450–750 per person including private driver-guide, riad and hotel accommodation and guided tours. Agadir is good value. Flights are extra.
Marrakech → High Atlas/Tizi n'Test pass & Taroudant (night 1) → Taroudant souks & Anti-Atlas (night 2) → Agadir beach (night 3). It pairs mountains, "Little Marrakech" and the beach.
Agadir is a modern resort city rebuilt after a 1960 earthquake — long beach, promenade, reliable sun. It lacks historic medina charm but is a comfortable beach base and the gateway to the surf coast at Taghazout. Pair it with Taroudant for character.
Yes — we build it as a private, tailor-made tour with a dedicated driver-guide and hand-picked riads. Add a Taghazout surf stop or a Paradise Valley swim. Tell us your dates via the plan-my-trip form.
