Moroccan ceramics, from the blue-and-white of Fes to the green of Tamegroute, are among the country’s proudest crafts. This workshop hands you the clay and the wheel, guided by a master who has shaped pots since childhood.
You learn how local clay is prepared, then try the potter’s wheel yourself — centring, opening and pulling the walls of a bowl or cup, a skill that looks effortless and proves gloriously humbling. The master is beside you at every wobble.
Once your piece is shaped, you decorate and glaze it in traditional patterns, learning the meaning behind the motifs. Fired pieces can be collected later or shipped, and you leave with muddy hands and a real understanding of the craft.

Cancellations made more than 30 days before departure receive a full refund of the balance paid. Between 30 and 14 days, 50% is refundable. Within 14 days the deposit is non-refundable. March–May and September–November for the most pleasant weather. Hot dry summers and mild winters with cool evenings. Spring and autumn are the busiest and most beautiful; book early for these months. Summer is quieter inland due to heat, winter quieter on the coast.
