The Erg Chebbi dune field near Merzouga — 22 km wide and rising 150 metres at its highest — is the centrepiece of our desert programme, offering a genuinely spectacular and authentic desert experience within reach of an international flight to Marrakech.
Beyond the dunes themselves, a great desert tour takes in the full arc of the pre-Saharan journey: the High Atlas crossing at Tizi n'Tichka, the earthen kasbahs of the Draa Valley, the palm groves of Skoura, the film-set citadel of Ait Ben Haddou, and finally the vast silence of the hammada as Erg Chebbi appears on the horizon.
